In addition, the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration stated that they will fully support the high-quality development of the tourism industry and take multiple measures to meet the inbound tourism needs of overseas tourists.

The first is to provide port visa convenience for foreign tourists entering the country.

At present, visa authorities at 97 ports in 71 cities across the country can issue group tourist visas for foreign tourist groups organized and hosted by domestic travel agencies, with each stay in China not exceeding 30 days.

The second is to continuously optimize the transit visa-free policy.

At present, 31 ports in 23 cities in 18 provinces implement a 72/144-hour transit visa-free policy for people from 53 countries. That is, people from 53 countries who are transiting through China to a third country or region can stay in the designated area for 72/144 hours without a visa with a valid international travel document and a connecting ticket, providing travel convenience for foreigners in short-term transit for temporary business, meetings, tourism and other activities.

The third is to implement a regional entry visa-free policy. (That is the points we mentioned above)

Foreigners who meet the policy requirements may travel within the specified time and area. Currently, my country has implemented a 15-day visa-free entry policy for foreign tourist groups on cruise ships in Shanghai, a 30-day visa-free entry policy for tourists from 59 countries in Hainan, a 144-hour visa-free entry policy for tourist groups from 10 ASEAN countries in Guilin, Guangxi, and a 144-hour visa-free entry policy for foreign groups from Hong Kong and Macao to enter the Pearl River Delta and Shantou in Guangdong.

Fourth, optimize customs clearance guarantees.

Further simplify the inspection procedures for cruise ships and crew members, promote onboard inspection, improve customs clearance efficiency, and help promote relevant tourism companies and cruise companies to design and launch more cruise routes and tourism products, attracting more visiting cruise ships to China and foreign tourists to visit the country.
