Martin Place Christmas treeMartin Place Christmas Tree, New South WalesThe tallest Christmas treeThe tower is decorated with more than 110,000 LED lights, a 3.4-meter-high color-changing star and 330 specially made glossy balls.

The tree's 800 branches are decorated with 15,000 flowers representing nine different Australian flower species:Banksia, macadamia, acacia, wattle, eucalyptus gum, kangaroo paw, flannel, pink wax flower and white wax flower.

Come enjoy our City Choir performing in the tree every evening during December.

Take a stroll through Martin Place and soak up the magic of Christmas in Sydney.

From 8pm to midnight, enjoy a kaleidoscope of colours, decorative lights and stars every 15 minutes.

Stop by the Pitt Street Mall Light Dome while you’re in town.

Take a stroll along George Street and look up at the stars at the top of each lamppost. The Woolworth Building opposite Sydney Town Hall is also covered in a curtain of light.

The City of Sydney is proud to support the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation this festive season. Donations support wards, research laboratories and sick child care programs.
